Finance Internship – Summer 2027 (FP&A)

About the role

Mastercard’s Finance internship program offers hands‑on experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) during the summer of 2027. Interns support budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling while delivering accurate reports to leadership, gaining exposure to corporate finance and data‑driven analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports with variance analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by consolidating financial and operational data across business units.
• Develop and maintain basic financial tools and reports under supervision of the FP&A leadership team.
• Monitor revenue and expenses, manage risks and opportunities, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide performance insights.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program graduating Dec 2027–June 2028.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, Operations, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, ask questions and learn new tools.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
