Finance Analytics Specialist

About the role

Zurich North America is looking for a Finance Analytics Specialist to join the Claims Finance team at its headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois. The role focuses on creating financial presentations, models, and dashboards that support strategic projects across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting for claim staffing and ULAE allocation.
• Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards and reports that deliver deeper insights into claim operations and outcomes.
• Communicate complex financial information to business partners and prepare key messages and reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of finance/accounting experience, or equivalent high school diploma with 6+ years, or completion of Zurich Finance Development Program.
• Preferred experience in the insurance industry, project management, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SQL or related database query languages.
• Data visualization expertise using Power BI or similar tools.
