About the role
DigDeep is seeking an internal Field Supervisor for its Dilkon site in Arizona. The role supports the Navajo Water Project by overseeing Water & Solar Technicians, ensuring daily tasks align with project priorities, and acting as the primary liaison between field crews and the Project Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Create work schedules and monitor attendance of Water & Solar Technicians.
- Allocate daily tasks and site work according to project priorities.
- Support Project Manager in short‑term planning and goal alignment.
- Delegate responsibilities and projects to technicians.
- Supervise and train new and existing technicians.
- Ensure adequate manpower, resources, and safety compliance.
- Oversee use of machinery and heavy equipment.
- Conduct safety training and enforce OSHA and other safety standards.
- Complete required health and safety trainings (e.g., OSHA 30).
- Travel to sites to monitor installations and provide guidance.
- Manage inventory and proactively order supplies.
- Perform routine quality control checks on installations.
- Troubleshoot minor onsite issues and resolve crew conflicts.
- Act as liaison between crew, Project Manager, and community members.
- Support performance management and annual reviews of technicians.
- Report project status regularly to the Project Manager.
Required profile
- Currently employed at DigDeep (internal candidates only).
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience supervising staff, creating schedules, and delegating tasks.
- Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Commitment to occupational safety and health principles.
- Ability to travel between sites as needed.
- Availability to start ASAP.
Required skills
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Heavy equipment operation and supervision.
- Inventory management and supply ordering.
- Quality control inspection of water and solar installations.
- Safety training delivery and compliance monitoring.
