Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technology

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG‑owned leader in intelligent home solutions, as a Field Service Professional. You will install cutting‑edge smart home technology and proactively recommend upgrades to give customers peace of mind.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes on‑site and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and safety features.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.

Required profile

• Strong sales mindset with experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales (preferred).
• Customer‑first attitude, integrity, and ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass background and licensing checks.
• Physical ability to lift 45 lb, climb ladders up to 14 ft, and work in confined spaces.

Required skills

• Installation of security cameras.
• Installation of smart locks.
• Home automation system setup and troubleshooting.
