Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging (Baltimore & DC)

About the role

Allow your passion for improving lives to shine in this role where you’ll be responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites. You will work in the Baltimore, Maryland and Washington DC area, providing exceptional service to healthcare customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to entitlements, setting clear expectations, and meeting arrival commitments.
• Understand the customer’s business and competitive environment to generate service revenue.
• Participate as a member of the regional work team, improving processes and identifying training gaps.
• Complete all administrative duties, including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, preventative maintenance, and installation documentation.
• Utilize tools, support resources, and escalation processes to diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems in a timely manner.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 3+ years in other electromechanical industries.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and on‑call rotations.
• Willingness to work safely with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment.

Required skills

• Electronic troubleshooting and repair.
• Mechanical repair and maintenance.
• Networking configuration and diagnostics.
• Experience with diagnostic X‑ray, cardiovascular, cath lab, and image‑guided therapy equipment.
