Field Marketing Manager, Public Sector

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Field Marketing Manager focused on the Public Sector in the United States. You will own the end‑to‑end field marketing strategy for government audiences, working closely with Public Sector Sales and Business Development Representatives to drive demand and pipeline for Claude, Anthropic’s AI platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and activate the US Public Sector field marketing strategy, including planning, calendar creation, execution, and measurement.
• Design and run government‑compliant event formats such as agency roundtables, mission‑focused briefings, tech demo days, industry days, and executive breakfasts.
• Align the field calendar with federal and state fiscal cycles, targeting spend windows before September 30 and state budget deadlines.
• Own Anthropic’s presence at anchor public‑sector events, handling sponsorship, speaker placement, and on‑site execution.
• Build co‑marketing programs with distributors, resellers, systems integrators, and contract‑vehicle holders, delivering joint events and partner‑sourced pipeline.
• Partner with Public Sector Sales and BDRs on pre‑event targeting, live engagement, and post‑event follow‑up.
• Create operational playbooks (Demo Day kit, hackathon kit) for scalable regional use.
• Establish baseline metrics, dashboards, and ROI reporting for all field programs.
• Represent Anthropic as a credible voice within the public‑sector ecosystem.

Required profile

• Direct experience building and running marketing programs where the Public Sector is the primary audience.
• End‑to‑end ownership of field‑marketing events and programs, hands‑on in both strategy and execution.
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with sales teams to convert interest into pipeline.
• Comfort navigating government ethics, gift rules, and procurement processes.
