Field Inspector – 1099 Independent Contractor

About the role

Seek Now is searching for capable 1099 independent sub‑contractors to provide accurate, impartial, and complete home and commercial property inspections. Our Field Inspectors act as frontline experts, collecting data for clients in property insurance, facility management, and real‑estate sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Access and inspect steep or high roofs, lifting, carrying, and setting up ladders and equipment up to 100 lb.
• Sketch, measure, and document roof or room components using proprietary mobile software.
• Travel to disaster‑affected areas for assignments lasting 2‑6 weeks, with lodging provided.
• Cover a 100‑mile radius around your home market and accept short‑notice assignments.
• Utilize equipment such as 3D cameras, drones, and moisture meters as required.

Required profile

• Clean, reliable truck, van or SUV capable of transporting a 32‑ft ladder.
• Valid driver’s license, state‑issued workers’ compensation, and general liability insurance.
• Operational laptop and smartphone with ability to navigate applications and use Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain HAAG Certification within 90 days.
• Professional appearance and ability to submit complete, quality reports on time.
