Farm Assistant

About the role

The Farm Assistant will support daily operations of a 10‑acre farm at Atlantic Fields, helping to produce high‑quality crops, care for farm animals, and deliver engaging experiences for members and guests. This hands‑on position blends physical farm work with occasional office duties and member interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain plants, vegetables, fruits, and flowers through propagation, greenhouse work, transplanting, weeding, watering, harvesting, washing and packing.
• Care for farm animals such as bees, chickens and ruminants, providing food, water, shelter and hygiene.
• Provide basic nursery care for perennial trees, shrubs and vines.
• Operate and maintain small garden tools and machinery, reporting any safety or equipment concerns.
• Track farm inventory of seeds, organic fertilizers and supplies, and record metrics like crop yields, harvest weights, animal health and pest management.
• Guide members, guests and prospects on farm tours, answer requests promptly, and assist with educational events and outdoor dining experiences.
• Coordinate harvesting schedules with Food & Beverage, Culinary and Member Services teams.

Required profile

• Physical stamina for hands‑on farming tasks.
• Ability to perform basic office duties and maintain accurate records.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with members, guests and team members.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
