Environmental Project Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead site investigation and remediation projects of varying size and complexity. The role includes supervising junior environmental staff, managing budgets, liaising with clients, and preparing technical reports. You will also mentor junior team members and provide technical support throughout project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project management and technical services for multiple environmental projects and clients.
• Act as the company representative with clients and subcontractors during program execution.
• Develop and oversee Project Execution Plans, Health & Safety Plans, and QA/QC documents.
• Establish program requirements, monitor deliverables, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and win‑strategy development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional registration and Parsons project‑management certification (as required).
• Extensive background in environmental site assessment, remediation, risk assessment, and field sampling of soils, groundwater and surface water.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of industry regulations.

What we offer

• Salary range $125,100 – $225,200 per year.
