Factory Quality Engineer

About the role

The Factory Quality Engineer will support one or more assembly lines at the Raytheon Dine Facility in Farmington, NM. You will work closely with manufacturing, test, design, and management teams to ensure product and process compliance while driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced aerospace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify product and process compliance with contractual, technical, industry, and AS9100 QMS requirements.
• Generate and publish Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) metrics on a regular basis.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in failure analysis, root‑cause and corrective‑action (RCCA) investigations.
• Identify non‑conformances, develop solutions, track issues to closure, and chair Corrective Action Boards.
• Control, disposition, and document non‑conforming material; facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) actions when needed.
• Support development and maintenance of work instructions, test instructions, and audit processes.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship or U.S. Person status (required for access to program information).
• Experience in quality engineering within aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Management System and related compliance standards.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across engineering, production, and management teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to lead investigations to resolution.
