Fabrication Technician & Warehouse Associate

About the role

McCarty Equipment, a SunSource company, is a leading distributor and fabricator of hose and related industrial products. We are seeking a Fabrication Technician / Warehouse Associate to support shop operations across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in gasket, hose, mechanical seal, cylinder repair and conveyor belting departments using various tools.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts, tagging, stacking, sorting and maintaining organized stock.
• Operate soft gasket press, circle cutter, Allpax cutter, shears, and punch press machines.
• Perform hose banding, crimping, rolling, cutting and testing in the hose area.
• Disassemble, clean, bead‑blast, pack and ship mechanical seals and components.
• Support shipping activities: packing, receiving, building crates and loading.
• Operate a forklift after certification and use tape measures regularly.
• Maintain a clean and safe shop environment and contribute to lean and safety initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year industrial shop experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly.
• Willingness to work under close supervision and follow safety regulations.
