Fabrication Project Manager/Estimator

About the role

The Fabrication Project Manager/Estimator will work directly with internal Fabrication and Project Management teams to deliver structural steel projects across Michigan. The role blends estimating, schedule coordination, and stakeholder relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate structural steel projects and develop accurate cost proposals.
• Coordinate project schedules and ensure timely completion in both shop and office environments.
• Manage relationships with owners, internal stakeholders, and cross‑functional departments such as Safety, Estimating, and Project Management.
• Monitor project budgets, cost control, and financial performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in construction structural steel projects.
• Strong commitment to safety, integrity, and quality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tekla Powerfab (preferred).
• Experience using fabrication software and advanced computer applications.
• Extreme attention to detail and willingness to learn.
