Experienced Welder – Heavy Industrial & Construction

About the role
We are seeking an experienced welder to join our skilled team, delivering welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance services for a wide range of heavy industrial and construction equipment across a regional territory.
Key responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on heavy construction equipment, structural steel, excavators, crushers, and material handlers.
- Fabricate, repair, and reinforce damaged or worn components and structures.
- Travel independently across a large region, with occasional overnight stays.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
- Collaborate with on‑site customers to minimise downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a welder, fabricator, or structural welder on heavy equipment.
- Ability to work independently in a field‑based role with regional travel.
- Strong safety focus, reliability, and a desire for long‑term career development.
