Executive Social Media Specialist (Contract)

About the role

The Executive Social Media Specialist will work directly with Replit’s CEO to create and publish premium visual content, primarily on Instagram. This role captures real‑world moments, builds the founder’s personal brand, and operates as an all‑in‑one creative operator without relying on a larger production team.

Key responsibilities

• Own photography, videography, editing, and publishing across official social channels.
• Travel with the CEO to capture speaking engagements, interviews, awards, office visits, and other meaningful moments.
• Identify and produce content around pillars such as founder story, entrepreneurship, global perspective, and human moments.
• Develop documentary‑style storytelling that favors authentic moments over manufactured content.
• Build and grow a presence on Instagram and other visual platforms through premium photography and video.
• Maintain quality and brand guardrails, prioritising credibility and long‑term influence.
• Partner closely with Replit’s Marketing and Communications teams while focusing on the personal brand.
• Move from concept to final execution independently with fast turnaround.

Required profile

• Proven experience producing premium photography and video content for an executive, founder, public figure, or creator.
• Portfolio demonstrating documentary‑style storytelling rather than short‑form trend content.
• Comfort and flexibility with travel to capture real‑world moments.
• Strong judgment on tone and positioning, distinguishing long‑term credibility from short‑term engagement.
• Ability to work independently across the full production cycle: capture, edit, and publish.
• Familiarity with platform‑specific storytelling on Instagram and other visual, photo‑ and video‑first mediums.
• Discretion and professionalism given close proximity to executive and personal moments.
• Experience building a personal or executive brand from an early stage is a strong plus.
