About the role

The Executive Director / CEO will lead the Children’s Advocacy Center in Pasco County, driving its mission to prevent and heal the impacts of child abuse, neglect, and family trauma. This senior executive role blends compassionate leadership with disciplined execution to ensure long‑term sustainability and high‑quality services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement organizational strategy, financial plans, and operational performance metrics.
• Oversee program quality, fund development, community partnerships, and government relations.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, grant compliance, and restricted fund accounting.
• Lead fundraising, donor cultivation, and revenue development initiatives.
• Provide visionary leadership to staff, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, human services, healthcare, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in child advocacy, trauma‑informed care, and victim services.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and hold staff accountable.
• Strong communication skills for public speaking, board reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and personal integrity.
