Event Cashier & Flagger – Traffic Control

About the role

This seasonal position combines event cash handling with traffic control duties at a parking facility in Hartford, CT. You will greet patrons, manage vehicle flow, and process payments while maintaining a professional appearance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct patrons to appropriate parking spaces and enforce traffic flow.
• Verify cash float at shift start and manage cash, credit card, and validation transactions.
• Issue tickets, record transaction details, and provide receipts and correct change.
• Handle exception transactions such as lost or grace‑period tickets according to policy.
• Complete daily shift paperwork, including vehicle counts and transaction summaries.
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier booth and follow company signage guidelines.
• Perform small cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by local management.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and maintain professionalism.
