About the role

The ERA/EFT Enrollment Specialist manages the automated receipt of payments and Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) from payers, ensuring that billing and payment information is up‑to‑date and that required EOBs are obtained for processing.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming payments to identify payers eligible for EDI, ERA, and EFT processing through the clearinghouse.
• Create enrollment requests, follow up for approval, and confirm activation.
• Communicate with the clearinghouse to resolve enrollment‑related issues.
• Monitor payer billing and payment data, implementing required updates.
• Execute payer‑specific procedures to update billing information and ensure completion.
• Assist the payments department by contacting payers to request missing EOBs.
• Identify payments needing additional documentation and coordinate re‑processing of EOBs.
