About the role

Sage Care is building an AI‑powered care navigation platform and needs an expert to integrate with Epic EHR systems. You will own the full lifecycle of Epic integrations, translating partner requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Epic and other EHR integrations, identifying the necessary APIs for reading and writing data.
Create a unified integration framework that can scale across multiple healthcare partners.
Collaborate directly with partner healthcare providers to understand their systems, drive integration projects to launch, and maintain long‑term relationships.

Required profile

5+ years of software engineering experience.
Hands‑on experience with Epic integrations as a third‑party developer.
Proven ability to work closely with partners, gather feedback iteratively, and solve ambiguous problems from first principles.

Required skills

Epic integration development.
FHIR and HL7 interface experience.
Backend engineering and API design.
