Senior Platform Engineer, Medical Devices

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and operate the infrastructure, tooling, and pipelines that support our Medical Device product, spanning embedded Linux fleets in the field to cloud services. The role treats infrastructure as a product, ensuring safety, compliance, and rapid delivery for patient‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own the build, signing, rollout, rollback, and per‑device configuration for the Linux kiosk fleet, including OTA updates and recovery mechanisms.
• Manage CI/CD, test‑gated promotion, controlled approvals, and release traceability across cloud and device software.
• Ensure platform observability, alerting, reliability, backup, auditability, and security controls.
• Operate AWS and Terraform foundations, providing reliable, secure, reproducible infrastructure.
• Establish self‑service tools and golden paths for engineers, and advise on complex build or deployment issues.

Required profile

• 8+ years of platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering experience in AWS, with ownership of production CI/CD and release systems.
• Strong software‑engineering skills in Python or Go.
• Experience operating Linux‑based IoT device fleets and OTA update strategies.
• Deep expertise with Terraform/Terragrunt and containerization (Docker, ECS/Fargate or Kubernetes).
