About the role
The State of Georgia’s Environmental Protection Division is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to focus on municipal stormwater. You will help protect Georgia’s water resources and support the agency’s mission to restore the environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform annual report reviews for municipal stormwater permits.
- Update permits upon re‑issuance.
- Provide compliance assistance to customers on Federal and State stormwater regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics, geology, engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience with water‑quality modeling, stormwater principles, Georgia NPDES Municipal Stormwater Permits, and stream identification methods.
