Crop Protection Sales Representative – Idaho & Utah

About the role

Join BASF Agricultural Solutions as an Ag Crop Protection Sales Representative covering Idaho and Utah, preferably Southeast Idaho. You will help farmers achieve their business goals by providing agronomic solutions and promoting a broad portfolio of crop protection products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and develop agronomic solutions for small grains, potatoes, sugar beets, and corn.
• Promote and sell a broad crop protection portfolio through engagement with retailers, distributors, and growers.
• Develop business plans, segment and target key influencers, and create short‑ and long‑term customer action plans.
• Conduct product updates, trials, and technical training for growers, retailers, and distributors.
• Provide timely reports on market opportunities, threats, and competitive activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Agronomy, Communications or related field.
• 4‑6 years of sales experience in the crop protection industry.
• Strong knowledge of cropping systems for small grains, potatoes, sugar beets and corn.
• Creative and confident communicator with a team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of crop protection products and their application across major crops.
