Senior Crop Protection Sales Representative – Idaho/Eastern Oregon

About the role

BASF is seeking a hard‑working, creative Senior Crop Protection Sales Representative to serve customers in Idaho and Eastern Oregon. The role involves promoting a broad portfolio of crop protection products and delivering agronomic solutions that help growers achieve their business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and develop agronomic solutions across alfalfa, sugar beets, corn, and potatoes.
• Promote and sell a wide range of crop protection products through retailers, distributors, and growers.
• Develop and execute business plans, segmenting and targeting key influencers and retailers.
• Conduct product updates, field trials, technical and sales training for growers and partners.
• Participate in cross‑functional teams and communicate customer needs throughout the organization.
• Prepare timely reports on market opportunities, threats, and competitive activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Agronomy, Communications or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of sales experience in the crop protection industry.
• Strong knowledge of cropping systems for alfalfa, sugar beets, corn and potatoes.
• Proven ability to create and execute local marketing strategies.
• Confident, clear communicator who thrives in a team environment.
