About the role
Lilly is seeking entry‑level engineers to join its manufacturing and development organizations across several U.S. locations. These roles support the design, operation, and improvement of pharmaceutical production systems.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain manufacturing, utility, and automation systems in compliance with regulations.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage capital projects from design through start‑up.
- Design drug delivery, manufacturing, waste‑reduction, energy‑minimization, safety, and environmental control processes.
- Analyze and optimize transportation, distribution, and warehouse operations.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in a BS/MS Engineering program, graduating by August 2027.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis (no visa sponsorship).
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‑assessment abilities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Previous internships in the pharmaceutical industry are a plus.
