Entry-Level Concrete Construction Laborer

About the role

We are looking for an entry‑level Laborer I to join our concrete construction crew in New Orleans. The role supports skilled tradespeople on a variety of concrete projects, from foundations to slabs, ensuring sites are clean, safe, and ready for work.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor, including site clean‑up and manual material handling.
• Operate motorized equipment and hand tools such as power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
• Assist in the pouring of vertical concrete and install forms according to instructions.
• Work in all weather conditions, handling exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lb regularly and up to 90 lb with assistance.
• Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing on job sites.
• Minimum 12 months of formwork or concrete construction labor experience (preferred).
• 30‑hour OSHA certification desired.
