Entry-Level Civil Designer – Future Opportunity

About the role

KPFF is seeking an entry‑level Civil Designer to join its Portland, OR office. The position is intended for recent graduates who are eager to begin a career in civil engineering within a supportive, entrepreneurial environment. Candidates will be placed in a dynamic team that works on a broad range of land‑development, transportation and municipal projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers on a variety of civil design projects.
• Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop design solutions.
• Contribute to project documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• BS in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• Initiative‑taking, strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• EIT certification preferred.

Required skills

• AutoCAD.
• Civil 3D.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
