Enterprise Data Analyst

About the role

Zurich Insurance is seeking an Enterprise Data Analyst to analyze complex enterprise data and develop analytical assets that support business decision‑making across multiple functions. The role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, structure, and interpret large, diverse data sets to enable accurate reporting, strategic analysis, and operational insights.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data‑driven solutions while ensuring data quality and long‑term usability.
• Design, develop, and maintain analysis‑ready data assets by integrating, validating, and organizing data from multiple sources.
• Produce data‑driven analytical outputs such as reports, dashboards, and visualisations to address business problems.
• Perform data profiling, quality assessments, and recommend improvements to analytical processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience translating complex business requirements into technical and analytical solutions.
• Proven experience in deep‑dive data analysis, data cleaning, transformation, and profiling.

Required skills

• Python programming, including pandas and NumPy.
• SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Microsoft Power BI with DAX and Power Query.
• ETL development and enterprise data integration tools.
• Data profiling, cleaning, and transformation techniques.
