IT Project Leader

About the role

Zurich Insurance in Schaumburg, IL is seeking an IT Project Leader to head the Salesforce project team, overseeing development, business requirements, testing and execution of the defined scope. The role offers a hybrid work model with up to 40% remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project team, define business problems, and set project scope and objectives.
• Design and implement solutions using deep insurance and business systems knowledge, managing change and transformation.
• Facilitate operational transformation, act as a thought partner with business leaders, and drive process reengineering.
• Manage vendor relationships, prioritize Jira stories, and ensure successful delivery of functional designs and testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience leading project teams, Scrum Master roles, and Agile large‑scale Scrum environments.
• Extensive experience with Jira, Salesforce platform, and insurance underwriting or claims applications.
