Engineering Manager, Site Reliability

About the role

Radar is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a globally distributed Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. You will own the roadmap for scalable, highly‑available infrastructure that supports over 1 billion API calls per day.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, grow, and mentor a distributed SRE team, including on‑call rotation.
• Drive observability, monitoring, incident management, and automation initiatives.
• Design and implement multi‑region, high‑availability infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and EKS.
• Collaborate with product, data, platform, and security engineers to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Lead critical initiatives such as 99.99%+ availability, cloud cost optimization, and security by design.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting production issues in a high‑throughput environment.
• Proven track record managing production AWS environments with Terraform.
• Background in high‑growth startups and scaling multi‑region Kubernetes workloads.
• Experience with large sharded MongoDB clusters under heavy read‑write loads.
• Willingness to engage with customers and incorporate feedback.
