Engagement Manager - Life Sciences R&D

About the role

Veeva is seeking an Engagement Manager to help life‑science customers accelerate the delivery of treatments by transforming their R&D operating models with technology, data and AI. You will focus on one of the R&D practices—Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, Regulatory, or Pharmacovigilance—based on your background.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex, large‑scale, global consulting engagements.
• Build and nurture senior customer relationships, drive proposals and long‑term account strategy.
• Inspire and manage teams of 4+ consultants across multiple projects.
• Oversee project budgets of $1M+ and ensure commercial success.
• Contribute to practice‑building activities and internal IP development.

Required profile

• 8+ years of life‑sciences consulting experience (business or management consulting preferred).
• Proven track record managing large project teams and $1M+ engagements.
• Deep expertise in biopharma ClinOps, Clinical Data, Regulatory, or Pharmacovigilance.
• Analytical problem‑solving mindset with ability to influence C‑suite stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Veeva products.
• Experience delivering SaaS or tech‑enabled consulting solutions.
