About the role
Saronic Technologies is seeking an experienced End of Line Technician to ensure the quality and functionality of mechanical and electrical systems on autonomous surface vessels before delivery to the Department of Defense. The role blends hands‑on assembly, testing, and final inspection with close collaboration with engineering and production teams.
Key responsibilities
- Perform end‑of‑line testing, troubleshooting, and validation of vessel propulsion, drive shafts, motors, actuators, and structural assemblies.
- Conduct final diagnostics on wiring harnesses, circuit boards, sensors, and related electrical components.
- Use mechanical tooling such as torque wrenches, hydraulic presses, and vibration analyzers.
- Operate diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.
- Document test results, repairs, and modifications in detailed logs.
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with safety and industry standards, including ESD best practices.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience as a mechanical or electrical technician in high‑tech manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems, assembly, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality results.
Required skills
- Mechanical tooling: torque wrenches, hydraulic presses, vibration analyzers.
- Electrical diagnostic tools: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers.
- Blueprint and schematic interpretation.
- Familiarity with ASME, IPC, and MIL‑STD standards.
