End of Line Mechanical Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced End of Line Mechanical Technician to join our production team on the 2nd shift (3:00 pm‑11:30 pm). You will ensure that the mechanical systems of our autonomous surface vessels meet all performance, safety, and compliance standards before delivery to the Department of Defense.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑of‑line mechanical testing, troubleshooting, and validation of propulsion, drive shafts, motors, actuators, and structural assemblies.
• Use mechanical tools such as torque wrenches, hydraulic presses, and vibration analyzers to verify system functionality.
• Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical specifications, and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed logs of test results, repairs, modifications, and deviations.
• Assist in calibrating mechanical components and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Provide feedback to design and engineering teams to improve product designs.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a mechanical technician or in a similar high‑tech manufacturing role.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical assembly, testing, and maintenance of complex systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME and MIL‑STD.
• Ability to work independently on the 2nd shift and follow strict safety procedures.
