End of Line Electrical Technician

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking an End of Line Electrical Technician to join the production team on the 2nd shift (3:00 pm‑11:30 pm) in Austin. The role ensures that all electrical systems on autonomous surface vessels meet rigorous quality, safety, and performance standards before delivery to the Department of Defense.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑of‑line testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems for autonomous vessels.
• Conduct final electrical checks on wiring harnesses, circuit boards, sensors, motors, and related components.
• Use diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers to assess functionality.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with engineering to review test results and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed logs of test outcomes, repairs, and modifications.
• Support setup, calibration, and ESD safety procedures for production equipment.
• Provide feedback to design teams to improve product designs and testing processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrical technician in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and schematics.
• Experience with autonomous systems, unmanned vehicles, or defense technologies is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and within a fast‑paced, high‑pressure production setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers.
• Hands‑on experience assembling and testing wiring harnesses, circuit boards, sensors, and motors.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with IPC electrical safety standards and MIL‑STD compliance.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and controller diagnostics used in autonomous platforms.
