About the role

KIPP Minnesota is seeking licensed elementary education teachers to join its North Star campus for the upcoming school year. Teachers will deliver a rigorous, college‑preparatory curriculum to a diverse student body in an open‑enrollment public school setting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess elementary core academic instruction.
• Implement KIPP’s Five Pillars framework, emphasizing high expectations and results‑focused learning.
• Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and school leaders to support student success.

Required profile

• Valid elementary education teaching license (or license in process with willingness to obtain out‑of‑field permission).
• Commitment to KIPP’s mission of serving low‑income, predominantly African American or Hispanic/Latino students.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Minneapolis.
