Electronic Engineering Technician – In‑House Repair & Test

About the role
The Electronic Engineering Technician will set up new electronic items for in‑house repair, write test procedures and train technicians. The role also involves supporting legacy products, recommending replacement parts and performing production repair work as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new items for in‑house electronic and motor department repair.
- Document and save all new set‑up and test procedures.
- Train technicians on new set‑up procedures.
- Assist the department head in purchasing test equipment and organizing the department to achieve growth and profitability.
- Scan test procedures into the computer system.
- Identify and recommend replacement units to customers.
- Cross over foreign or obsolete parts and work on legacy products.
- Perform production repair work as needed.
Required profile
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information to customers.
- Thorough understanding of electronic circuits.
- Ability to perform set‑ups in a timely manner.
- Ability to document set‑ups clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills.
Required skills
- Soldering and desoldering.
- Industrial electronics experience.
- Electronic circuit analysis.
