Electronic Control Technician – Night Shift

About the role

Our Anderson, Indiana production facility is a state‑of‑the‑art plant and distribution center focused on sustainability and advanced automation. The flagship beverage factory produces Coffee mate, Starbucks, and Natural Bliss coffee‑enhancer products.

Key responsibilities

• Execute real‑time troubleshooting and problem solving with the maintenance/Operations team and follow up on issues.
• Participate in preventative maintenance activities as needed.
• Support line maintenance and ensure accurate documentation of electrical and automation platforms.
• Analyze performance data to reduce unplanned equipment stops.
• Participate in Pillar Activities, AWG, MWG, IWG and maintain KPI targets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Associate degree/technical certificate or 3‑5 years of equivalent experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with automation systems for building, facility, packaging, utility, and process controls.
• Proficiency with PLC software – Studio 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal.
• Experience with HMI systems, preferably Allen‑Bradley FactoryTalk View or Aveva Wonderware.

Required skills

• Troubleshoot PLCs, control panels and associated hardware.
• Troubleshoot and commission HMI programs.
• Configure and troubleshoot variable frequency drive (VFD) and servo motors.
• Interpret electrical schematics and complex safety circuit networks.
• Diagnose three‑phase 480 VAC, 120 VAC and 24 VDC control and power systems.
• Basic troubleshooting of industrial networking and Historian messaging.
