Electrician Technician – Specialized TPM Maintenance (3rd Shift)

About the role

The position is a 3rd‑shift Electrician Technician focused on TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) for the EV14 value stream at Bosch Charleston. You will support multi‑craft maintenance, perform breakdown and preventive work, and ensure safe, clean work areas in an Industry 4.0 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute breakdown, preventive, scheduled and project maintenance on assembly production machinery within the I4.0 manufacturing area.
• Set up spare parts, optimize preventive maintenance plans, and keep process parameters up to date.
• Utilize plant systems such as SAP, MES, OPCON, Tableau and Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
• Troubleshoot, repair or replace defective components including gears, clutches, bearings, solenoids, valves and pumps.
• Monitor operations to reduce scrap and rework, perform adjustments, and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain 5S standards, document work in SAP, and support cross‑functional teams to meet safety, quality, cost and delivery targets.

Required profile

• Electrically qualified with a high school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience in manufacturing assembly or machining.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, print‑reading and mechanics.
• Ability to work on a rotating 3rd‑shift schedule and adapt to changes.
• Strong communication skills for clear technical instructions.
