Electrical Hardware Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Hardware Engineer to develop product designs that meet project specifications for the automotive aftermarket. You will work on new product introductions and support existing products, collaborating with cross‑functional teams in Owatonna.

Key responsibilities

• Design electronics for new product introductions.
• Develop verification plans, execute verification of new and existing products, and document results.
• Support component obsolescence and other maintenance activities for existing products.
• Perform change management activities such as engineering change requests (ECR) and bill‑of‑materials (BOM) updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hardware design.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work in a team.

Required skills

• Analog and digital circuit design.
• Hardware design and verification.
• Change management (ECR, BOM updates).
• Understanding of component obsolescence processes.
