System Design Engineer – ACS Products

About the role

Bosch Mobility Aftermarket is looking for a System Design Engineer to lead the system‑level design of Air‑Conditioning Service (ACS) products. The role involves creating high‑level architecture, integrating software, hardware and mechanical components, and ensuring products meet performance, safety and certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and document system‑level architecture for ACS products.
• Produce detailed design documentation, including wiring diagrams, specifications and FMEAs.
• Coordinate testing, create test plans and reports, and support product certification (UL, CE, etc.).
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and contribute to warranty cost reduction.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams, ensuring on‑time, on‑spec, and on‑budget delivery.
• Perform design analysis and risk assessments to guarantee form, fit, function and safety.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSEE preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in electro‑mechanical system design.
• Proven ability to work from vision, manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• System architecture design.
• Electro‑mechanical design of components such as motors, sensors, switches and controls.
