Education Consultant – Remote AI Mathematics Evaluation

About the role

Mercor is seeking an experienced Education Consultant to work remotely on evaluating AI‑generated mathematical content. You will help improve the rigor and reasoning of AI models by reviewing and providing feedback on complex mathematics tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the accuracy and depth of AI‑generated mathematics content.
• Review complex mathematical material for alignment with domain principles and methodologies.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to AI research teams to enhance training data quality.
• Develop evaluation rubrics and benchmarks for AI‑generated mathematical tasks and solutions.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure dataset consistency, relevance, and coverage.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving model performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in mathematics education or a related field.
• Proficiency in evaluating and improving AI models.
• Strong understanding of mathematical principles and methodologies.
