About the role
Fielding Graduate University seeks a Doctoral Faculty member in Clinical Psychology to join its distributed learning PhD program. The position combines remote teaching, supervision of doctoral dissertations, and periodic in‑person engagements with students in the Chicago area.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise doctoral dissertations and provide scholarly guidance.
- Teach course seminars both virtually and face‑to‑face.
- Offer in‑person seminars across 6+ days total at 2–3 national sessions per year, requiring offsite travel.
- Conduct monthly or bimonthly in‑person meetings with students in the Chicago area.
- Maintain an active program of research and scholarship.
- Participate in program and university committees.
Required profile
- Doctorate degree in psychology.
- Licensed (or license‑eligible) to practice psychology.
- Graduate‑level teaching experience (preferred).
- Doctoral dissertation committee experience (preferred).
- Strong record of research publications (preferred).
- Willingness to reside in or near the Greater Chicago area.
