Dishwasher – Full & Part‑Time Shifts

About the role

Bon Appétit Management Company is seeking reliable dishwasher team members for both full‑time and part‑time schedules at the University of Portland location. You will keep the kitchen’s dishware, cookware, and work areas clean and sanitary, supporting a fast‑paced food service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes, pots, pans, and trays into a dishwasher or wash them by hand.
• Polish silverware using burnishing machines, chemical dips, or hand cloths as required.
• Maintain proper chemical levels, temperature settings, and safety procedures.
• Sweep, mop, and steam‑clean kitchen floors and surfaces to meet sanitation standards.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food‑prep areas.
• Remove trash, clean garbage cans, and assist with supply transfers.
• Support loading and unloading of supplies and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• At least one year of prior dishwashing experience.
• Ability to work day or night shifts on a flexible schedule.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.
