Director, Thought Leader Liaison – Oncology

About the role

The Director, Thought Leader Liaison (Oncology) leads a national team of Thought Leader Liaisons supporting Servier's rare oncology portfolio. This senior position shapes KOL engagement strategy, partners with sales and medical functions, and ensures compliance while driving brand impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a national team of 10 Thought Leader Liaisons across neuro‑oncology and hematology‑oncology portfolios.
• Design and execute national KOL engagement plans, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and high‑impact account focus.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Medical Affairs to integrate TLL activities into the broader commercial plan and drive measurable brand impact.
• Oversee KOL advocacy development, peer‑to‑peer education programs, and advisory board execution while maintaining compliance.
• Define performance metrics, MBOs and reporting processes to track TLL effectiveness and drive accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharma commercial experience, with at least 5 years in Thought Leader Liaison, marketing, sales or medical affairs leadership.
• Proven ability to build and manage a national TLL or field engagement strategy across multiple oncology products.
• Strong track record in KOL relationship development, peer‑to‑peer program design and speaker program management.
• Excellent understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements for HCP and KOL engagement.
