Director Supply Planning

About the role

The Director of Supply Planning leads Interparfums USA’s long‑term supply strategy, ensuring that finished‑goods inventory aligns with demand forecasts and business growth targets. This senior position partners closely with manufacturing sites, planning teams, and senior leadership to drive operational excellence across the fragrance and cosmetics portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Enable long‑term supply planning to support annual revenue growth.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels across the full finished‑goods catalog.
• Align supply plans with demand plans in collaboration with affiliate material planners.
• Oversee production planning and execution commitments from contract manufacturing partners.
• Meet and exceed KPIs for fill rates, days of supply, and inventory levels.
• Monitor short‑ and long‑term capacity at subcontracted production sites.
• Lead monthly inventory reviews and present KPI analytics to senior leadership.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives and implement Six Sigma performance tools.
• Calculate and monitor safety stock using ABC classification.
• Support product lifecycle management, including phase‑ins and phase‑outs.
• Manage inter‑DC inventory transfers and coordinate with subcontracted production.
• Lead broad supply‑chain projects and develop team performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, operations or manufacturing, preferably in cosmetics or fragrance.
• 4+ years of experience in team leadership and people management.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver).
• Strong technical expertise with MRP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Outlook for communication and coordination.
• Six Sigma methodology for performance improvement.
