Director, Solution Engineering

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Solution Engineering to lead technical engagements with digital partners, OEMs, and chip manufacturers. You will design and deliver scalable payment solutions that leverage Mastercard’s digital assets while shaping the technology roadmap for emerging commerce experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements with digital players, OEMs, and chip manufacturers to design solutions that use Mastercard product suites.
• Partner with partners to capture business and technical requirements and translate them into actionable solution designs.
• Define and communicate Mastercard’s technology roadmap and strategy for each digital partnership.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless, secure, and inclusive payment experiences.

• Passionate about developing simple user experiences for intricate technical challenges.

Required skills

• Proficiency in systems, applications, and software programming.
• Experience with testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support of software solutions.
• Knowledge of Mastercard digital assets such as MDES, Click to Pay, and Secure COF.
