Director / Senior Finance Leader

About the role

Excelitas Technologies is seeking a Director/Sr, Finance to act as a trusted global business partner for the Industrial Material Solutions Division (~$160M annual revenue). The role reports to the CFO & SVP of the Advanced Industrial Segment and will have global P&L ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Division’s P&L, provide strategic advice on investments, and act as backup for the Division VP/GM.
• Partner with Operations, Product Management, R&D and other functions to analyze data, prepare executive summaries, and support pricing and margin decisions.
• Lead the annual budgeting, long‑range planning, KPI variance analysis and monthly operating reviews.
• Perform R&D project analytics, M&A diligence, and develop business case models.
• Support month‑end close, reporting automation, and system projects using SAP, OneStream and PowerBI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of finance leadership experience, preferably in a global manufacturing or technology environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently, thrive in a performance‑driven culture, and handle ITAR‑restricted information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with SAP financial modules.
• Familiarity with OneStream reporting platform.
• Knowledge of PowerBI for data visualization.
