Director / Senior Director, Product Management

About the role

As Director/Senior Director of Product Management at CivilGrid, you will partner closely with the Head of Product to drive focus and momentum for a key part of our platform. This player‑coach role owns the end‑to‑end roadmap, works side‑by‑side with engineering, and leads a small team of PMs.

Key responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for your product area end‑to‑end—from discovery through launch, iteration and measurement.
• Translate company strategy into a focused, prioritized plan and present it to leadership.
• Partner closely with engineering as a thought partner to drive execution, resolve trade‑offs and ship on fast cycles.
• Stay close to customers to deeply understand workflows and the decisions the platform must support.
• Lead and grow a small team of PMs: hire, mentor, manage while staying hands‑on.
• Champion a default‑to‑shipping culture, getting product into customers’ hands quickly and iterating.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years leading people.
• Proven track record shipping multiple iterations of successful B2B products.
• Ability to dive deep on technical detail with engineers and zoom out to strategy with executives.
• Startup‑ready mindset: autonomous, fast‑moving, takes initiative without being asked.
• Bias toward shipping: prefers getting something in front of users this month over perfecting it for next quarter.
