Director of Supply Chain

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead end‑to‑end material execution at its Franklin, Louisiana manufacturing site for the Marauder autonomous surface vessel. The role oversees procurement, supply planning, and warehouse operations to ensure uninterrupted, on‑schedule production in a defense manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full material flow at the Franklin site, including planning, procurement, receiving, inventory, kitting, and material movement.
• Drive on‑time delivery, inventory accuracy, and production schedule adherence for the Marauder line.
• Establish buffer and safety‑stock strategies, and reduce receiving‑to‑stock and pick/kitting cycle times.
• Lead resolution of material shortages, supplier delays, and line‑down risks with clear escalation.
• Deliver cost savings and build a multi‑year savings pipeline through category strategies and disciplined commercial execution.
• Improve working capital by expanding net payment terms and strengthening contract adherence.
• Manage local supplier performance, conduct Supplier Business Reviews, and reduce supplier‑caused non‑conformances.
• Build repeatable, standardized operating models and SOPs that scale with production volume.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading supply chain operations in a manufacturing or defense environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
• Experience developing scalable operating models and standard operating procedures.
