Director of Strategic Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Strategic Finance to partner with the SVP of Strategy & Operations and the executive team. In this hands‑on role you will lead financial planning, modeling and scenario analysis to drive Thesis’s growth and resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial forecasting process, long‑term models and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and senior leaders to align capital and operational resources with company OKRs and expansion plans.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights, linking metrics such as CAC, LTV and contribution margin to business outcomes.
• Evaluate new channels, partnerships and product opportunities through rigorous ROI‑focused analysis.
• Prepare investor decks, board presentations and internal updates that communicate the strategic narrative.
• Design dashboards and analytical frameworks that provide transparent performance visibility across functions.
• Identify levers to improve margins, unit economics and overall profitability.
• Partner with Marketing, Growth, Operations, Product and HR to ensure financial clarity and accountability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic finance or corporate development within high‑growth, fast‑moving companies.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
• Excellent communication skills to convey financial insights to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Track record of influencing senior leadership and driving cross‑functional initiatives.
