About the role

The leading global cruise company based in Miami is seeking a seasoned Director of Procurement to drive sourcing and supplier operations across its worldwide fleet and shore‑based activities. This senior leadership position focuses on turning strategic goals into measurable results, delivering cost savings, and ensuring reliable supply for all cruise operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of procurement strategies for categories such as food & beverage, hotel operations, marine, and technical supplies.
• Ensure sourcing, contracting, and supplier management meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Translate high‑level goals into actionable plans with clear metrics and ownership.
• Negotiate contracts and secure optimal commercial outcomes.
• Implement process improvements to boost efficiency and data transparency.
• Monitor performance, reporting on cost savings, service reliability, and compliance.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and technical teams to meet real‑time demands.
• Lead, coach, and develop a results‑driven procurement team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of procurement leadership experience, preferably in cruise, hospitality or maritime sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable procurement results.
• Strong operational mindset with focus on process, timelines, and cost control.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
