Director of Partnerships
goodwall · USA - Remote (East Coast)
Job description
About the role
We are looking for a Director of Partnerships to help take Goodwall into its next stage of growth. This senior role will own a multi‑million‑dollar pipeline, win new partnerships and grow relationships with Fortune 500 companies, foundations and public‑sector organisations.
Key responsibilities
- Build and close big opportunities: own a multi‑million‑dollar target, create your own pipeline and turn conversations into significant new partnerships.
- Open doors: leverage your network, existing relationships and smart outreach to connect with decision‑makers.
- Build great partnerships: understand organisational goals and find the intersection with Goodwall’s capabilities.
- Grow what’s working: develop existing partnerships, uncover new opportunities within them and nurture lasting relationships.
- Bring ideas to life: collaborate with programs, product and leadership teams to shape compelling proposals.
- Own the full journey: manage the process from first conversation through proposal, negotiation and close.
- Help shape how we grow: influence partnership strategy, sales approach and the development of a high‑performing team.
Required profile
- 10+ years experience in enterprise sales, partnerships or business development, preferably in CSR, sustainability, HR/talent, foundations or edtech/social impact.
- Commercially minded, curious and creative, able to start opportunities through conversation rather than a fixed pitch.
- Confident building relationships with senior decision‑makers and comfortable diving into detailed execution.
- Proven ability to take an idea to a signed contract, including proposal, numbers and business case.
- Highly self‑directed, comfortable with ambiguity and able to move quickly.
- Desire for ownership and autonomy in a lean, fast‑moving environment.
What we offer
- Above‑market compensation package that rewards performance.
- Opportunity to work on strategic 6‑7 figure partnerships with world‑leading organisations.
- Genuinely global role, collaborating across markets and with a worldwide youth community.
- Small, ambitious team where you can shape strategy, not just execute.
- Real ownership, autonomy and room to grow.
- Flexibility on working environment.
- A mission‑driven purpose: helping millions of young people build skills, access opportunity and shape their futures.
